Since 2005, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families as a licensed social worker. I have experience working alongside my clients to promote well-being, self-care, and mental health supports individually and in a group settings. Understanding the demands of one’s profession and striking a work-life balance in general can be difficult and challenging for most of us. I also have extensive experience working with parents confronting the challenges of parenting children with a host of mental health, educational, and medical needs. Parents need support and a healthy outlet to meet their mental health needs to best support their children. Through a strengths-based, action-orientated, and solution-focused approach we can explore the stresses and pressures of everyday life, set practical goals, develop strategies to navigate difficult times and build healthy relationships and/or boundaries to create a more balanced life.
